Position Overview:

Sedna is seeking a proactive, full-time Property/Material Clerk to work in our office in Manassas, Virginia. We are looking for detail-oriented and dependable candidate to support daily warehouse, inventory, and property management operations in a fast paced, mission-focused environment. This role is responsible for receiving, tracking, organizing, issuing, and maintaining company and customer property.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Hands on manual duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies
  • Supports shipping documentation and receiving. To include recording, counting, weighing, or measuring items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records
  • Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and coordinates with purchasing to reconcile issues
  • Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation. Maintains accurate property and inventory in company ERP system
  • Operates material handling equipment such as, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage
  • Assists in routine inventory counts and reconciliation activities
  • Receive, label, document, store, and organize material in accordance with company procedures
  • Prepare property for shipment through commercial carriers or Government channels (pack and crate unclassified and classified property, coordinate shipment pickups with commercial carrier, drop off property at Government shipping drop off site, complete DD 1149 forms, etc.)
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas
  • Assists with government or customer property and tracking

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess an active or ability to secure an active DoD Secret clearance
  • Proactive work style and positive attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using commercial inventory or ERP systems preferred
  • Ability to use general office databases, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and related applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work with Government, customers, engineers, and stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of service delivery
  • Ability to work with a team to facilitate/coordinate movement of palletized equipment
  • Required to physically lift items, up to 40 pounds

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance Requirement: The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
  • Location (100% Onsite): 10611 Balls Ford Road, Suite 300 Manassas, VA 20109
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required
  • Experience Level: 0-3 years' experience dependent on combination of relevant Education

Salary Range: $50,000 - 65,000 annually

All salary ranges dependent on relevant experience and demonstrated performance executing similar work scope.
