Associate Director, Contracts Services

The Associate Director, Contracts Services role is an integral part of our internal team, providing strategic and tactical support throughout the entire contract life cycle and offering invaluable pricing expertise to our government contracts (GovCon) industry clients as well as assisting in strategic growth including mentoring/training junior team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Growth Support

  • Assist with or lead prospective client scoping calls.
  • Strategic discussions with current client base to determine opportunities for growth across the BOOST platform.
  • Lead proposal development for assigned prospect client engagements.
  • In coordination with sales/marketing, represent BOOST at industry events and conferences.

Client Account & Relationship Management

  • Assist in managing BOOST current client accounts.
  • Manage client satisfaction by ensuring high quality delivery of BOOST services.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and consulting teams to review project progress.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at client companies.
  • Function as point of contact for issue escalation and resolution as appropriate for assigned client base.
  • Collaborate across BOOST divisions to address customer needs.
  • In coordination with Director, lead new client kickoff calls to ensure clients are onboarded successfully.

Client Services Delivery

  • Administer a variety of contracts, including OTAs, CPFF/CPAF/CPIF, FFP, FPAF, T&M, LH, IDIQ, BPA, and BOAs, both pre- and post-award.
  • Conduct external customer liaison activities, including attending meetings and leading discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on competitive contracts, sole source awards, and directed prime and subcontract customer awards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Prepare responses for proposals, bids, estimating pricing and contract modifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage cradle-to-grave contract administration support.
  • Facilitate negotiations for proposals, contract modifications, and agreements.
  • Proactively identify and address potential non-compliance issues.
  • Coordinate various agreements and support documents with relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract information in the contracts database.
  • Support and track contractual documentation and action items.

Team Management

  • Supervise and train direct reports.
  • Conduct periodic and annual reviews of direct reports in accordance with BOOST policies and metrics.
  • Develop professional development plans for team members.
  • Onboarding and assignment ramp-up, in coordination with Director, for new hires.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of on-point full contract (revenue-generating) life cycle management experience in federal government contracting working for a private sector federal contractor.
  • Must have previous experience leading a contracts team with direct reports.
  • Expert knowledge of GovCon, FAR, DFARS and supplemental regulations, DCMA requirements, etc.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with spreadsheets.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and team-building skills.

Work Authorization Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Clearance is NOT required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPCM or advanced degree preferred.
  • GSA Schedule and GWAC submission, modification, and reporting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Close vision required.
